critique=This is NOT a review. This is a warning. I have had Layers of Fear in my library for quite some time, waiting for the right time to play it. Unfortunately I am no longer interested, because a Rock Paper Shotgun article, sitting at the top of the "Recent News" feed, ruined the whole game for me in the very first paragraph, with absolutely no warning at all. If you have this game and haven't played it yet, or are willing to buy it, just maybe try to stay away from that specific article. I will not give this game a thumbs down solely based on that, because I'm not a jerk. I'm sure the game is great, I just can't get myself to play it now, knowing the main secret behind the game
